The L2X Drop-In system is a hotrunner system manufactured by Ewikon. It consists of nozzles, a manifold, a sprue bush, a complete wiring, and a connector box. Before handing to the customer, it is assembled and wired completely to ensure a convenient integration to the mould.

The EWIKON range of hotrunner systems is intended for large parts and represents a highly flexible design concept that features a wide selection of nozzle lengths (variable pitch and screw-in nozzles), flow channel diameters as well as gating options (open or valve). These systems can be easily adapted to the desired mold layout and shot depth and include a full range of custom solutions for a wide range of user-defined applications from large-scale production to small-batch production and prototype molding. These models are pre-assembled on the factory floor and shipped off as drop-in systems, with full electric wiring, connectors and supply lines for valve gate operation, built according to user specifications. These systems require simple maintenance procedures and are provided with full documentation on the assembly, parts, electrical wiring, etc.
