This air cooled heat exchanger is utilized in refineries, gas, petrochemical, and chemical plants. They are customized for customers' requirements in complex installations, critical applications and tough conditions.

The air cooled tube bundle covers the full range of metallurgies from low and carbon steel, duplex and super-duplex stainless steel, stainless steel, titanium and nickel alloys. The bundle also includes plugs, covers or a high pressure manifold header boxes design, as well as the complete range of extruded, L-footed or embedded aluminum tubes fins.

Additional features to the common configurations can also be supplied, such as finite element analysis header box verification under severe load cases which includes a nozzle to header join. The heat exchangers have a high pressure design up to 700 Bar (g).

In the processing industry, dry coolers are ideal for closed-circuit refrigeration of wide array of processing fluids. Melts in accordance with different sizes of particles can be manufactured by making use of a GEA Niro spray cooler. This flexible cooler is capable of producing melts with a maximum particle size of 500 microns. It is used for an extensive variety of products where a fine crush, derived from a melt is required. Atomization is carried out by making use of a GEA Niro rotating atomizer, a fountain nozzle or high pressure nozzles: For fine atoms with 50 to 150 micron as an average particle size of high pressure nozzles or a high velocity rotating atomizer or both in co-current method is used. A fountain nozzle in a counter-current method is applied for common atoms of equal to 500 microns and melts that solidify gradually.
