The E1 forced draft series of cooling towers from CONAIR employs a molded polyethylene housing that has been rust-proofed, and comes with a 15-year warranty. Corrosion, spoilage, and deterioration have been eradicated due to the water piping, distribution system, and wet decking being made of PVC. Also, it employs forward curved centrifugal belt-powered blowers that are made with sturdy steel and dipped and baked alkyd finish that ensures corrosion resistant services. Moreover, the series has a weight capacity ranging from 10 to 75 tons.

The DSP line of dimple plate heat exchangers by Exothermics can be manufactured in various sizes, and configured for cross-flow or counter-flow operation. The parallel plates in the exchangers are formed with either inline or staggered dimple patterns for the purpose of reducing particulate fouling potential.

These exchangers are capable of recovering energy from industrial exhausts with a temperature range up to 650 degrees Celsius or 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. Ideal applications for the dimple plate design are ones in which some particulate may be included with the flows.
