Aplisens' UZ-2 is a protection circuit which is made to secure the auxiliary units and measurement transmitters against overvoltage which commonly causes danger. The typical kind of over-voltage are the ones that are caused by atmospheric releases and the ones that are caused by, for instance, the wreckage in the induction circuit or the effect of high frequency circuits.

The UZ-2 is not actually an item to protect lightning; it only serves as a protection for the units. It also is the kind of barrier that has resistors, gas arresters and diode transiles.
