Turck is widely known for its claim as as a complete provide of interface components. And to prove its claim, Turck has now completed its 6 new modules for the IMSP series. IMSP stands for interface-module-surge-protection. These are installed ahead of the interface modules and offer unfailing security against over-voltage. It has a compact size (6.2mm) which saves more space and regardless of its size, the modules are available in two, three and four-wire technology. These modules can also be mounted on a standard top-hat rail or a provided assembly plate. Another excellent feature of this is that the devices in protection category IP20 can be used in the ex-zone as well as in the non-ex-zone which makes this flexible.

The Edco DRS Series is a DIN rail-mountable single pair surge suppression module that equip three stage hybrid technology. It mounts toward a standard 35mm industrial DIN rail. There are three Field Side and three Electronics Side screw terminal. Three electrically fixed ground terminals are supported for grounding the Edco DRS Series unit to Building-Approved Ground. The capacity to self-restore incomparably increases suppressor performance and suitability. Sneak currents are alleviated with resettable fuses (PTCs). The PTCs accelerate resistance in several series of magnitude when over currents transcended safe levels and proceed in a normal state when over currents are removed.
