The FMA1000 is a series of transmitters and indicators that measure air velocity, as well as other variables, such as air temperature, and are particularly useful in development and research labs, but also in manufacturing processes and HVAC applications. The design of the sensor makes use of three RTD elements, one for measuring the air temperature, and the other two for taking measurements of velocity.
This series of products comes with various standard features, such as a digital display, as well as two analog outputs and a USB serial interface. The data logging software can be run on any version of Windows, while velocity can be displayed in various engineering units.

FMA-1600A and FVL-1600A are high-quality flowmeters that make use of the differential pressure principles in order to determine their mass flow rate. The operating principle for these devices is a fairly simple one. An LFD (Laminar Flow Element) is placed inside the meter and has the role of forcing the gas into laminar flow.
Next, the volumetric flow rate is dictated by the Poiseuille equation, while the viscosity of the gas can be used to determine the volumetric flow rate. The sensors for pressure and absolute temperature are placed separately in the unit, according to the design, while the mass flow rate can be reported in units such as SLM (standard liters per minute) or SCFM (standard cubic feet per minute).

This device uses the technique of heat transfer through a heated tube. It gives accurate molecular gas flow rate without compensating for variations in gas temperature or pressure (within stated limits). This device is composed of aluminum/brass for common gas flows and are made of 316SS construction to deal with applications requiring more corrosion resistance.
