Rotary positioning stage / motorized / vacuum-compatible - Vacuum series 8

The Altechna series of motorized stages are the ideal units to use with applications that need vacuum compatible stages in order to operate. All units are fitted with the 10-6 vacuum compatible stepper motor, and all mechanical parts within the device are fully lubricated with a high vacuum compatible grease for stability and reliability, but the aluminum components are not anodized.

All stages of these units are vacuum chamber cleaned and packed, allowing buyers to instantly implement the unit into a vacuum clean without interfering with the vacuum. These units require a 24 to 36 V power supply, and buyers are advised to use either GS60A24-P1J, EA1050D-240 or PUP120-17-B1 as their supply. A vacuum compatible DC motor can be fitted to the stages in required.

Vacuum-compatible positioning stage - max. 1.5 mm/s, max. 3 mm, max. 0.4 Nm | MS15

The MS15 series is manufactured by Mechonics, and is a piezo driven step motor that is incorporated with low hysteresis. It can handle reached position without current, which has a step width of 15 nm depending on the controller. There is a positioning accuracy that is better than 50 nm, which has a velocity of up to 1.5 mm/s.

Vacuum-compatible positioning stage - max. 1.2 mm/s, max. 8 mm, max. 0.5 Nm | MS30

The Mechonics MS30 Piezo-Driven Step Motors, with Low Hysteresis (vacuum version), maintain reached positions without currents. The devices feature 10-nm step width rates (depending on controller), < 50 nm positioning accuracy rates, and velocity levels that approximate at 1.2 mm/s (also depending on controller). They also sport travel ratings of 8 mm, and 0.5-Nm maximum torque levels.

Motorized positioning stage / for microscopes - max. 8 mm/s | SMS-120

The SMS-120 is manufactured by Sutter Instrument. This motorized positioning stage for microscope has a maximum velocity of 8 mm/s. It is suitable for quick, repeatable positioning of slides, chambered slides, multi-well plates, and other specimen holders.

The stage is made from machined aluminum plates to minimize distortion. Other features include precision cross roller bearings, precise lead screws, and stepper-motor based drives, which guarantee the fluidity of movement over the 120 mm route in the X axis, and 85 mm route in the Y axis.

Its sturdy and advanced design allows the reduction of maintenance costs and efforts. For data communication, it can be supplied with USB and virtual com port (VCP) drivers as part of 3rd party software integration.

Motorized positioning stage / for microscopes - 0.04 - 0.2 µm | MP-78/MPC-78

This product is used in patch slice or in vivo experiments where microscope body cannot be moved to different fields of view. It is used in two-photon experiments where the excitation beam path enters a fixed microscope. In order to visit wide-spaced fields of view, and position pipettes, the preparation and associated manipulators move together on stage. The MP-78 was introduced in 2007 for Imaging Structure and Function in the nervous System. Its used with inverted microscopes for larger scopes in difficult translations. Its cast aluminum top plate has attractive shape with extensive 1/4-20 threaded hole pattern on 1-inch centers.
