Automatic L-sealer
Marden Edwards offers wide range of L sealers from manual to semi automatic to fully automatic L sealers with capability of delivering about 120pack/min. Product wrapped loosely with sleeve wrap is passed through a heat channel shrinking it. To provide a tight wrapping of the product , a polyolefin film is passed through a heat shrink tunnel. Options of twin sleeve wrap machine in manual and automatic configurations are available. . Maximum 30 collations/min is possible. Polythene film usage leaves the resultant pack ends exposed. Shrinkwrap is best suited for sleeve wrap of individual products like tray of cans or bottles and collate and wrap cartonned products etc. Suited for products like food products, toiletries, pharmaceuticals to printed products.

The LST 50 partially automated L sealing machine is a multipurpose condense wrap solution for demonstration wrapping. It is equipped with a fastening system, and a constantly moving heat shrink tunnel mounted on one housing.
The machine utilizes one phase, 13 amp storage and can be smoothly moved around owing to the fact that the equipment is mounted on sealable castors. The pace of the operation is approximately 600 products per hour and needs an operator to be physically there al the time to load the product.
The product is then covered physically and loaded in the middlefolded film. The sealing and cutting crown is physically lowered on the film and is secured using a solenoid.

Wraps UK offers the Flexo500s, where the continuous style of wrapping is necessary for high speed presentation shrink. This equipment is capable of producing 60 products per minute. To ensure perfect shrinking at high speed, the system is provided with a high capacity shrink tunnel and shrink wrapper. The product is fed in the same way as an automatic L - sealer into the side sealing shrink wrapper.
The length of the product that is being wrapped is measured by the machine, where a single sealing bar cuts and seals the film across the width of the machine. A continuous motion cutting and sealing blade system produce a lateral seal that is used instead of L-shape to form the other side of the seal.
