The Touchswitch from Go4B is a mechanical belt and pulley misalignment sensor. It detects tracking and misalignment on bucket elevators and conveyors. The sensors can be connected directly to a PLC input, or for greater safety, to a central independent monitoring system. The sensors are usually installed in pairs on opposite sides of the belt or pulley.

It is suitable for use with bucket elevators to detect buckets for measurement of speed and alignment. The unit is a non-contacting extended range sensor to detect targets up to 100 mm from the sensor.
The unit can also detect ferrous bolts when non-ferrous buckets are being used. It is used in combination with a PLC or with a Watchdog, T500 Elite or A400 Elite control unit.
It also features a long range magnetic sensor, unaffected by material build up. The unit also continuously monitors the moving elevator using a visual LED indication.
