Conveyor belts are subjected to constant impacts from material falling onto the belt. Foreign bodies, wrongly installed scrapers and chutes are also a risk for the conveyor belt. The earlier that damage is detected, the lower will be the repair costs.
The PHOENOGUARD system permanently monitors the conveyor belt's surface. The magnitude and type of damage that is recorded or the occasion to set off an alarm or stop the system can be adjusted at will. PHOENOGUARD consists of one or two line cameras and fluorescent tubes with oblong reflector.
