These machines have three subdivided sections: the trim cooler, re-circulating chiller and heater section. The HF version of the system with tubular heat exchangers is capable of increasing temperatures when high-viscosity products are being handled by the filler. When the application is complete, the product is brought back down to the ideal filling temperature.

They come as either single-deck or double-deck machines. The conveyor belts are made of either steel or plastic, depending on the type of container through which they pass. A noted feature of the tunnel pasteurizer is that it is possible to calculate temperatures and PUs based on measured values and also precise pasteurizing for about 180,000 containers per hour. Active spraying using full-cone clamp nozzles grace each deck of the device ensuring perfect and uniform distribution of water.
