Contipure delivers a high amount of hygiene to PET bottles. This is a gaseous H2O2 module that is designed to simultaneously sterilize the interior, exterior and neck finish of the pre-forms. With total reliability, it supplies a product line with sterilized PET bottles.
The module offers three decisive characteristics that distinguish it from conventional systems. In addition to the gaseous H2O2 technology, it offers a Contipure feature, which is located between the blowing wheel and oven. This characteristic reduces the potential for pre-form contamination and keeps it to an absolute minimum. The Contipure also performs sterilization a step earlier than what is considered typical. With this process, the pre-forms are treated, but not the finished bottles. This is due to the fact that their surface area to be sterilized is smaller than that of the bottles. Less energy and consumption of media is the result.
