The Masoneilan 49000 series V-log valve has an enlarged, cast globe-style body that features a lower weight and overall dimension, and is capable of handling gas and liquid services in many industries. It is a high pressure drop valve with a stacked disk trim design that offers up to 36 stages of pressure reduction and accommodation of gas expansion.
It offers reduced installation costs and the larger flow gallery supports expanded or reduced inlet and/or outlet body connections for velocity control of expanding gases. V-log design enables use with compressible or incompressible fluids under serious conditions and reduces noise and cavitation.

GE Masoneilan* 74000 Series heavy oil process valves are useful for handling difficult service associated with heavy oil applications, including high temperatures, high pressures, erosive particulates in the fluid, and multi-phase flow. Available in sizes 1” through 8” (25 through 400 mm), the valves provide additional guiding for stability and vibration resistance due to its axial flow plug.
GE Masoneilan* 74000 is equipped with a rugged top guiding which resists vibration linked to high pressure letdown or multi-phase service. Specialty materials (options include carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome-moly) offer hardness and improves resistance.

The Masoneilan line of steam conditioning valves, featuring low noise trim and patented Flow Profiler technology, are used to reduce any system's pressure and temperature.
The SteamForm* product line is the result of 125 years of technical expertise combined with out of the box desuperheating technology. Flow Profiler minimizes downstream piping concerns.
The valve is based on ASME B16.34 and the expanded outlet size controls steam velocity. Its design can be customized on plant piping basis.
Stream pressure is controlled with minimal noise and vibration by the multi-stage pressure reduction trim. Class V shut-off performance means less energy loss to downstream piping. Injected spray water is finely atomized by high performance spring loaded nozzles. The durable trim prevents temperature variations in combined cycles.
