EDI or Electrodeionization of GE is highly efficient in removing 97% of salts and other aqueous elements in a water supply.
This equipment is fitted with powerful electric circuitry that eliminates the need for additional chemicals or element in the deonization process. Its compact size allows for space saving concept. The EDI system provides optimum performance in all aspects of its application including power generation for boiler feed and NOx control, semiconductors, microelectronics, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
The EDI system is made in accordance to ISO14000 requirements.

Electrodialysis desalinator - EDR
The Electro Dialysis Reversal series of High Water Recovery Systems from GE can provide more extracted water from the total suspended solids and silica. They are ideally used for applications involving drinking water with less strain for the water scarce places. It is designed with polarity reversal, which makes the EDR a self-cleaning machine for murky wastewater that employs a sturdy membrane system. The Electrodialysis (ED) transfer the ions from one solution to another using selective ion exchange membranes. The process utilizes DC voltage to make the transfer. The bipolar electrodialysis (BPED) utilizes a bipolar membrane for splitting the water into OH- and H+ which creates acid and caustic streams. This process modifies the pH of a solution without the need to add acids or bases.

This exchange service is useful for applications including analytical labs, automotive dealerships, car washes, chemical producers, cosmetics, fleet and rental agencies, food and beverage plants, hospitals, microelectronics, metal finishing, power plants, photo finishing, pharmaceutical, refineries, and window washers.
