Demineralization is the process used in eliminating all dissolved mineral particles from water.
It can be used in Boiler Feed Water (BFW) treatment for sustaining high heat-transfer performance in the boiler. This is achieved through limiting the deposition of precipitated scale and abrasion/degradation of surfaces with water contact.
It can also be utilized in turbine manufacturing which requires higher water quality.
Demineralization is also suitable for applications for pharmaceutical, chemical, and petrochemical industry.
