MIC Electromagnetic Clutch is a one piece assembly which is delivered completely assembled and ready for use. The MIC assembly includes a custom-moulded gear or timing pulley designed as per specifications. The shaft can be easily shifted into the space without worrying about complicated assembly. Adjustments are minimal and do not leave any gaps after installation. The clutch is bidirectional and can be operated in clockwise or counter clockwise thus providing complete control of shaft. A permanent magnet-armature holds all the devices in place and without any air-gaps. All of the standard units come with a permanent magnet armature return attached to the inside of the gear.This provides a fast and smooth disengagement of the armature when power is released to the clutch coil. If the armature has to incorporate a one-piece spring, even this is possibility by eliminating backlash. An extended life is assured for all the parts as the special bushing allow for millions of operating cycles for most applications. Bore clutch is designed to fit in the D-cut Shaft for easy installation.

AMC Electromagnetic Clutch features include its easy mounting with ball bearings and easy installation, reducing maintenance requirements. Backlash is minimized and armature rattle eliminated by mounting armature to the hub via leaf springs. Response time and variations in acceleration, deceleration and slip torque is controlled by controlling applied current. Friction in armature and hub is overcome by eliminating splines and providing faster response and high performance.
