The GFL shaft-mounted helical gearbox is a compact device promising impressive strength, efficiency and reliable features. The device mainly consists of three phase AC and servo motors collaboration. It contains a powerful drive unit crafted out of shaft-mounted helical gearboxes. The lesser toothing backlash ensures the highest precision possible during working operations. The power outputs and torque through an output shafts located on the sides allow the power regulation and distribution within the connection. The gearboxes come in two or three stage models with built-in torque of up to 11,615 Nm as well as ratio measuring of up to i=856.

The Explosion-proof X Series of explosion-resistant, industrial-use gear units are helical-bevel, as well as helical gear units (with up to 475 kNm torque) designed, developed, and manufactured by Sew-Eurodrive. These gear units not only fulfill, but exceed the pre-requisites set by group II, category 3D, or 2D, which are possible dust explosion-prone atmospheres, as well as 3G, or 2G, which are possible gas explosion-prone atmospheres. These particular gear units manufactured by Sew Eurodrive are capable of operating in both zones 22, and 2, as well as zones 21, and 1. In addition to exceeding international product standards, most, if not all European countries already make use of the Explosion-proof X Series in order to meet with international industrial gearhead standards.

The Helical Shaft Mount Sumitomo is designed for fast and easy mounting onto the shaft of a machine. Thanks to the taper-grip bushing technology, an easy to use fitting and removing system has been established and no key is required. The HSM offers a number of advantages, including hardened gears with innovative geometry for high efficiency and maximum load. For a long life and high-load capabilities, the roller bearings are designed for high performance and maximum torque is made possible with wider gear teeth and a 25-degree pressure angle.
Additional features include standard bores, reducing brushes, taper-grip brushings, a flexible motor fitment, options for taconite seals and conveyor screws, backstops and exchangeability according to AGMA. The HSM series can be used for applications in mixing, mining, mineral working, luggage conveying, the forest industry, etc.
