The Helical Shaft Mount Sumitomo is designed for fast and easy mounting onto the shaft of a machine. Thanks to the taper-grip bushing technology, an easy to use fitting and removing system has been established and no key is required. The HSM offers a number of advantages, including hardened gears with innovative geometry for high efficiency and maximum load. For a long life and high-load capabilities, the roller bearings are designed for high performance and maximum torque is made possible with wider gear teeth and a 25-degree pressure angle. Additional features include standard bores, reducing brushes, taper-grip brushings, a flexible motor fitment, options for taconite seals and conveyor screws, backstops and exchangeability according to AGMA. The HSM series can be used for applications in mixing, mining, mineral working, luggage conveying, the forest industry, etc.
