Multi-pole surge arrester / type 2 - DEHNguard S

The Dehnguard S is a modular surge arrester that has an embedded back-up fuse. The model has a design which consists of a base component, and plug-in protection modules. It has a high discharge capacity that enables the protection modules can easily be interchanged without requiring the use of tools as it features a module locking system.

Type 2 surge arrester / for photovoltaic applications - DEHNguard® S PV SCI 600

The prewired modular complete unit has a tried and tested fault resistant Y circuits which avoid damage to the surge protective devices in case of faulty insulation in the generator circuit.
The unit is used for photovaltaic systems consisting of a base part and plug-in connection modules.
This is advisable for all PV systems in according to IEC 60364-7-712, the unit's combined disconnection and short-circuiting device prevents fire damage to the switching arcs is because of the safe electrical isolation in the protection module prevents fire damage due to d.c. switching arcs based on patented SCI principle.
The integrated d.c. fuse allows safe replacement of protection modules without arc formation and is tested according to prEN 50539-11.

Low-voltage surge arrester / type 2 - CT

The stepped design of the CT fine overvoltage protector is specially aimed at protecting data processing, instrumentation and telecommunication systems from atmospheric or industrial transient overvoltages.

The equipment consists of a base completed with a plug containing the impedance isolating elements (spark-gaps and diodes) as well as a fine protection stage.

It is possible to disconnect the plug from the base without interrupting the circuit

Type 2 surge arrester - DGE

The DGE is a Type 2 AC Surge Protection Device (SPD) dedicated to protect sensitive equipment against
over voltage which may occur in the AC network during a storm (lightning) or during switching electric
power sources (industrial interferences)..
In association with DGT or DGX surge arresters (see diagram), the DGE surge arrester provides
common and differential surge protection for AC networks, following the CT2 configuration in
IEC 60 364-5-534 standard.
Protection is based on specific gas tube which provides much lower residual voltages and high
discharge current capability on 8/20μs impulses.
The DGE is built with a plug-in module and a fixed base, which allows an easy and fast maintenance.

Single-pole surge arrester / type 2 / modular - RPC-40/280/1

The RPC-40 is a series of economy efficient, overvoltage surge protective device that is engineered to protect the machines from indirect lightning discharges. These devices are intended to provide protection in zones 1-2 as Per PN-EN (IEC) 62305 standard. These surge protectors comprises of a high performing varistor block with thermal disconnection device. RPC-40 has a plug-in module that regulates replacement of a broken module without the need to remove the stystem wiring. These arresters are installed in the main distribution boards or the subdistribution board. RPC-40 can be directly mounted on 35mm DIN Railmount complying in EN 50022 standard. Overvoltage surges are often caused by lightining, power switching transients, and faults in power distribution systems and power regulation.
