Single-pole surge arrester / type 2 / modular - RPC-40/280/1
The RPC-40 is a series of economy efficient, overvoltage surge protective device that is engineered to protect the machines from indirect lightning discharges. These devices are intended to provide protection in zones 1-2 as Per PN-EN (IEC) 62305 standard. These surge protectors comprises of a high performing varistor block with thermal disconnection device. RPC-40 has a plug-in module that regulates replacement of a broken module without the need to remove the stystem wiring. These arresters are installed in the main distribution boards or the subdistribution board. RPC-40 can be directly mounted on 35mm DIN Railmount complying in EN 50022 standard. Overvoltage surges are often caused by lightining, power switching transients, and faults in power distribution systems and power regulation.
