Friction testing machine - COF series

The COF series is a type of Friction testing machine. The series is ideally used for coefficient of friction test of paper or film. The series has a 2 N to 10 N capacity. The coefficient of the static friction and kinetic friction are calculated automatically together with an included software. The result of the test is drawn on the graph. The fixture of the series is according to ISO 15359:1999. The testing system must be combine with IMADA force gauge and IMADA test stand in order to have coefficient of friction testing. The user can use the ZTS or ZTA series as its digital force gauge. While the MX2 series can be used a a force test stand.

The series can be applied in packaging film friction test, grip sliding friction test and touch panel sliding friction test.

Ipses creates and develops customized fixtures, used to test either manual, semiautomatic, and fully automated, with single or double contacting even on pre-existing equipment.

The fixture, developed according to the testability of the electronic board and demands of the customer, allows contact of the DUT (Device Under Test) from below and from above. This also solves problems of direct contacting of connectors, and analyzes the orientation of assembled components.

In addition to fixture and ICT for electronic cards, Ipses also creates and develops fixtures for contacting final or semi-final products, which can both receive and clamp the DUT, either automatically or manually. Lastly, they can incorporate detection units to the fixtures.
