The first in AIDA'S NC series, the NC1 are single point gap frame presses, equipped with the latest hydraulic overload protection system or HOLP that provides high response time and tonnage capability of 60-100%, a highly durable wet clutch that contributes to the machine's cost efficiency, and a 6-point slide adjustment guide, all encased in a welded steel frame housing with a built-in cast steel bolster that increases this machine's accuracy.

It is integrated with an advanced control system easily programmed to set the parameters for easy operation. A lubrication system is also incorporated to provide oil lube to the shaft and bearings.

It is ideally used in the manufacturing industry particularly in die cast/molding. Its also been fitted with wet clutch, electric brake for the sliding motor, and a lubrication system for the shaft and rear crank bearings. Its easy to operate with low cost of maintenance.

The AIDA NS2 is suitable for operations involving crank and link motion prototypes. Its link motion feature expands the range of metal-forming possibilities to include difficult-to-form materials, prolong service life and minimize noise.

The device conducts its operation through the slide guides as it enables good performance and strong resistance against eccentric loads. It is equipped with a unitized straightside frame to provide low fame extension which is tightened through a tie rod.

It runs through a hydraulic overload protection system and HOLP motor. It has an automatic lubrication in the crank bearing and slide guides, thus, enhances the Bottom Dead Center. Through this, it reduces the thermal expansion of the frame and acquiring 10% of the SPM.

Schuler has set new standards in servo technology with its latest TwinServo technology and brought radical changes to the press world. The first transfer press developed by the Schulers Forming Center in Erfurt, featuring TwinServo technology, can handle 16,000 kN and is completely automated using Schuler-designed parts.

Two separate torque motors are included in the press bed, with each having a capacity of 503 kilowatts. The unique arrangement of the two decentralized drives ensures there's adequate room for the drawing cushions and scrap chutes. The press enables electronic synchronization of the drives.

The TwinServo Technology is suitable for transfer and ProgDie presses with capacities in the range of 10,000 to 35,000 kN.

The press offers bed length between 5m and 8m and width in the range of 2.2m and 3m. When compared to traditional models, TwinServo presses have a much lower height of approximate 6m. Also they require 30% less space.

The mechanical transfer presses in this product series come with four-point suspension, featuring a large opening in the uprights. As a consequence, the user will benefit from the largest possible die space. Next, the transfer presses with link drive are available with capacities between 6,300 and 50,000kN, while the eccentric drive comes with 6,300 to 25,000kN.

The manufacturer also offers eccentric presses with one-, two- or three-point suspension and, depending on the requirements of the application, users can also opt for one or more slides. As a supplier of forming technologies, the manufacturer offers auxiliary equipment for the transfer presses as well, including destacker/blankloader, tri-axis transfer systems and coil lines. Schuler Crossbar Feeder has been specifically designed to make mechanical press lines more cost efficient. The use of crossbar feeder automation in a press line enables direct transportation of panels from one press to another without any stations in between. It also allows repositioning of components before they are placed into the die.

Crossbar feeder significantly increases the production rate, as high as 15 strokes per minute, as opposed to mechanical press lines with robot or feeder automation. The crossbar feeder can also be used in mechanical with high speeds to load the introductory station press and in the last station for unloading the finished parts.

The crossbar feeder provides seven degrees of motion freedom. The distances between presses are shorter. For each transfer from one press to another, it requires only a single gripper tool. The changing over of dies and tooling can be done quickly.
