Standard version. Anthropomorphous robot with six degrees of freedom, fit for painting in line, where there is an overhead or floor conveyor systems. This robot is very versatile and, thanks to its optimum pneumatic balancing, it is suitable both for the self-learning programming and point to point system.

GR-630 G Robot with 2/3/4 arm carousel. The arms are supplied with a rotation group, which is synchronized with the robot and they can be arranged with different unit supports according the needs. The units can be loaded manually or automatically in a safe area; the carousel provides to their positioning to be processed on the frontal side and lately it brings them back in the unloading area. The arms, thanks to their configuration, allow to perform the programming easily. The carousel rotation is made by a controlled axis with programmable speed adjustment.

The standard version of an anthropomorphous robot is designed with six degrees of freedom making it suitable for painting at overhead or floor transporting systems. Its unique built structure makes it possible to process big sizes pieces and can also be synchronized to the conveyor to track the product. When the pieces attain considerable dimensions, the robots are set up on translation carts.

GR-650 G Robot is designed with 2/3/4 arm carousel. The arm group supplied with rotation group is synchronized with the robot and can be arranged using various unit supports based on needs. The units are loaded in a safe area manually or automatically. The carousel enables to process frontal side positioning and then brings them back in the unloading area. The specially configured arms enables easy programming. The carousel is rotated by a controlled axis with programmable speed adjustment.

The arms of the robot are made in carbon fiber, in order to reduce the inertia of the masses which have to be handled during the programming stage. Moreover the robot's wrist geometry allows it to rotate in every direction, facilitating tha painting of 'hard-to-reach' surfaces.

EPISTOLIO anthropomorphic robots can be programmed bot with the auto-learning or the point to point system. In the first case the operator will manually execute the painting of the piece, while the robot will store the performed movements in order to execute the program automatically later on. In the second case, the definition of the trajectory will be made by the computer, while the operator will only set the painting parameters .

Every robot can be mounted on a carouse, hanged to one or more aerial carriages or placed side by side with a turning device, in order to obtain the best configuratiojn to fullfill Customer's requirements. For this reasons, EPISTOLIO robots can be used to paint goods of different materials and with any kind of shapes or dimensions.

EPISTOLIO Srl Cartesian robot is a five axis robot composed by a linear vertical axes where the 'wrist group' is sliding; this structure is mounted on a XY aerial carriage.
Every robot included in this family is engineered starting from Customers' requirements in terms of available space and dimension of the pieces which have to be painted.

Since the operative area of the robot really wide (almost illimitated) this kind of system is particularly suitable for the painting of pieces with big dimensions which are running hanged to a conveyor.

Moreover this robot model, if coupled to a scanner and to the related software (developed by Epistolio) for the identification of the shape and the dimension of the pieces, represent the most efficient solution for the automatic painting of windows and doors

For blades up to 15 metres long and low production volumes,it is advisable to carry out both spraying and polymerisation in the same area; this solution is more economical, consumes less energy and takes up less space.
Spraying of the gelcoat or painting product is performed by an anthropomorphous robot positioned on a slide that travels the entire length of the blade, thus ensuring it is coated completely.
The gelcoat is sprayed onto open moulds normally placed side by side. In painting, instead the blades are fxed to a rotation unit that makes it possible to expose both sides to the spraying unit.
During the subsequent polymerisation phase the robot is placed in a special adjoining non-heated compartment.
After spending a suitable amount of time in the polymerisation kiln the blade can be sent on to subsequent stages of production.
The resin, paint and catalyser tanks are positioned in the immediate vicinity of the robot so as to minimise the amount of piping carrying the catalysed product.
