Cartesian robot / painting / for joinery
EPISTOLIO Srl Cartesian robot is a five axis robot composed by a linear vertical axes where the 'wrist group' is sliding; this structure is mounted on a XY aerial carriage. Every robot included in this family is engineered starting from Customers' requirements in terms of available space and dimension of the pieces which have to be painted.
Since the operative area of the robot really wide (almost illimitated) this kind of system is particularly suitable for the painting of pieces with big dimensions which are running hanged to a conveyor.
Moreover this robot model, if coupled to a scanner and to the related software (developed by Epistolio) for the identification of the shape and the dimension of the pieces, represent the most efficient solution for the automatic painting of windows and doors
