The 330505 series of Low Frequency Velocity Sensors from GE are used for detecting stator cores and frames, and bearing supports. It can measure vibrations within 0.5 Hertz to 1.0 kilohertz. Moreover, the unit employs a moving coil technology and signal conditioning circuitry that are used by the dual wire design for delivering a voltage output that increases or decreases as the vibration velocity increases or decreases.
