The Type 4374 is a miniature piezoelectric charge accelerometer, side connector and integral cable which has a titanium housing. This is mounted adhesively on the object and is used to measure high frequency levels, confined spaces, difficult structures and can also be used for vibration testing and analysis. It can be characterized as a charge source and its sensitivity uses charge per unit acceleration (pC/g). The charge is accumulated between the housing and the high tensile clamping ring. The PZ 27 is the piezoelectric element used in Type 4374 and Type 4734-S while PZ 23 is used in Type 4734-L.
