The SSW-05 manufactured by WEG are Soft-Starters. These units are fitted with micro processors which are considered high-tech due to their development. The WEG assures its units having the highest performance during starts and stops of induction motors. They are designed to accelerate and decelerate with a protect 3-phase induction motors for voltage control of the motor. Plus, it is retrofitted to supply an excellent performance. The SSW-05 Plus Micro Soft-Starters are engineered with digital signal processor control that proves to provide an excellent cost to benefit ratio. This unit runs on 3 to 85 A current and 220 to 575 V voltage. An integrated bypass and remote HMI are available upon the user's request. The motors are protected, which reduces stress on couplings and other transmission devices during start up.

Soft-Starter SSW-07 is an upgraded static starter, designed to perform tasks for three-phased induction motors: accelerate, decelerate and protect, done in power ratings from 4.5 to 315 kW. Equipped with Digital Signal Processor control, it allows the soft-starter to start and stop an electric motor smoothly by adjusting the firing angle of the thyristors and controlling the voltage applied to the motor.

The SSW-06 Soft-Starters drive series from WEG are used to protect, accelerate and decelerate three-phase induction motors. The Soft-Starters drive makes use of the thyristors triggering angle variation to control the used voltage to the corresponding motor, allowing for smooth operation. The torque produced by the Soft-Starters drive is capable of adjusting to specific load needs by adjusting variables in the driver with the human-machine interface. Doing so minimizes the electrical current needed to start the motor operation. The SSW-06 also comes with a built in pump control feature, designed for operator to efficiently monitor pumps to reduce possible overshoots.
