ATLANTA presents BG-Servo bevel gear units. They have been especially designed for use with latest-generation three-phase AC motors and DC motors.

The units are available in 3 sizes with centre distance of 50, 63 and 80mm, and with 3 ratios of 4,75; 6,75; 9,25:1. For all sizes and ratios, driving speed of up to 5000 min-1 is available. Output torque is at 50% over HP- and E-servo gearbox in the range of 100 to 450 Nm. They offer circumferential backlash of < 6 arcmin. Output hollow shaft has generous dimensions and can handle high additional forces. It is available with key connection or for clamp connection.

BG-Servo units are very sturdy and provide excellent precision. Their sizes and gear ratios are in accordance with the current series of servo worm-gear units. The manufacturing and fitting of the bevel gears is done with the most suitable tooth bearing. Both directions of rotation are assured of a seamless operation by using bevel gears end-lapped in sets. The housing is machined on all sides.
