Feature
More Powerful Machining Capability
The 3D analysis technique is fully leveraged for the machine structure design to achieve an optimized structure that delivers stable performance for heavy-duty or high-speed machining. Major structures are all cast-finished, and the main components have thicker bodies to meet all the heavy-duty machining needs.
A head-centered box column is employed. The table is thicker by 30% compared to the conventional machine.
Faster Machining
A high-rigidity double-row cylindrical roller bearing is placed on the boring spindle tip. With improved spindle rigidity, the high-speed spindle achieves fine cutting surfaces.
Ever-faster rapid traverse is realized: X/Y/Z axis rapid traverse speed: 20,000 mm/min (std.)
Flexible Machining Increases Productivity
Max. Φ110-mm tool diameter is allowed when tools are loaded in all the magazine pots. However, a tool with larger diameter can be loaded by removing adjacent tools on both sides of the pot.
