The RA006L series of robots from KAWASAKI ROBOTICS employ a design that is ideal for welding applications. They come with an interactive screen that is ideal for a quick start-up. Also, the welding data can be stored in a database that may be integrated with the robot, and may be utilized once the robot establishes direct connection with the welding controller. It comes with additional functions such as the start and the restart sequence functions, which allow you to start where the previous session was interrupted. They are also made to withstand electrical noise. Moreover, they can be used with TIG welding of plasma cutting procedures.

The series has 3 models, namely, the 6-kilogram RA006L, the 10-kilogram RA010L, and the 10-kilogram RA010N.

This unit comes with a simplified teaching screen that is dedicated to welding and easy operation as standard. The system conducts welding like a skilled human welder. The teach pendant is even equipped with an easy-to-view, easy-to-operate touch-screen. The system comes equipped standard with a dedicated start sequence function that improves the arc start ratio, as well as a restart sequence function that sends the robot back to the point where welding was interrupted and automatically conducts overlapped welding, thereby restarting the welding operation. The system incorporates a range of innovations, developed from the design phase to cope with noise generation in TIG welding, plasma cutting, etc., so it can be operated without about having to worry about noise-related constraints.

Based on the approved R-Series, these dedicated arc welding robots have a slim design and offer high availability and reliability. They are easy to operate which makes them ideal and efficient welders. Fast startup and a shortened setting time is achieved with the broad standard equipment and simplified teaching screen.

Welding data and parameters can be stored easily in the integrated data base and direct connection between the welding controller and robot is realized by the integrated welding interface. Easy operation is achieved by additional functions as the start sequence function. The robot is sent back to the position where the welding was interrupted by way of the restart sequence function in order to restart the process with an automatically overlapping welding.

The RA-Series has been specifically designed to provide high resistance against electrical noise. Plasma cutting or TIG welding can be processed and adapted with ease.
