Most recognized as the ROIbot, or the Cartesian series manufactured by Toshiba, the motor utilizes a simple modular building block design that allows single or multiple axis configuration to be made from the same standard components. The system provides for more than 500 configurations while the solid design lessens space requirements.
The motor is capable of being seated on either side of the axis, or even under it, to shorten its overall length. An array of optional extras and important accessories, such as cable management, fixing and linking plates, junction blocks as well as brackets and connecting cables are provided. Each axis can handle weight running up to 100 kg and feature AC servomotors, precision ground ball screws and high rigidity linear guides.

The W808, manufactured by WITTMANN BATTENFELD, is small CNC robot that can accomodate up to 3 kilograms of workload. It is ideally made for injection molding machines with up to 150 t of clamping force. This update from W801 utilizes a smaller footprint, an integrated control, and a 2 meter Z-stroke. This device also uses a fixed 0.6-meter kick-stroke design, a horizontal stroke that is available in either 1.25, 1.50, or 2.00 meters, and a vertical stroke that is available in either 0.6, 0.8, or 1.0 meters.
The W808 is identified to have quicker molding cycles as well as powerful servo drives for the three axes. Furthermore, it can be retrofitted with additional vacuum and gripper circuits.

Its compact design is constructed out of durable materials integrated with SmartBus technology which increases its flexibility and reliability. It is also integrated with a large extrusion made out of aluminum which reduces vibration on the vertical arm.
