Most recognized as the ROIbot, or the Cartesian series manufactured by Toshiba, the motor utilizes a simple modular building block design that allows single or multiple axis configuration to be made from the same standard components. The system provides for more than 500 configurations while the solid design lessens space requirements.The motor is capable of being seated on either side of the axis, or even under it, to shorten its overall length. An array of optional extras and important accessories, such as cable management, fixing and linking plates, junction blocks as well as brackets and connecting cables are provided. Each axis can handle weight running up to 100 kg and feature AC servomotors, precision ground ball screws and high rigidity linear guides.
