The cast film line machine manufactured by SML has an automatic thickness controlling unit with a fast die gap adjustment. This device is equipped with an automated core and a roll handling system. Also, it has distinct winding and inline slitting solution for the 2", 3" and 6" cores.

The product's advantages include flexible design and the ability to be customized as per the customer's demands. Coextrusion and lamination solutions have been addressed and it has dedicated design for EVOH, PA-barrier or combinations. Product specific feedblock and suppliers of dies are also provided. It has integrated encapsulation system for barrier materials to reduce amount of waste created. It has symmetrical and asymmetrical barrier structures and even product specific chill roll surface with a softbox or air knife available with product. The thickness is automatically controlled with faster die gap adjustment. Post-cooling and annealing units are placed for thick and asymmetric film structures. A different type of winder and roll-handling is employed.
