Dependable and maximized output machines offered globally. Our machines run at low speeds, perfect for river-run hydroelectric plants where Kaplan or Bulb turbines are likely to be setup along with Pelton or Francis turbines. All our hydro generators are obliquely shaped, ensuring optimal layout of generator parts within a circular design, irrespective of the kind of conditions in which they may have to operate.

Not only that, this design eases tensions on the overall structure of the generator, whereby operating lifespan and overall reliability are improved considerably. They also have a unique stator core pressing system deploying bolts right across the entire core of the stator. This system gives you pressing force precisely where it is needed: in the core, not at the back of it.

Moreover, as a protective mechanism, the stator windings have Class F primary insulation on them, with the help of fine quality mica-glass tapes.

EMG's Excitateur RK 12014 are brushless exciters with revolving diodes bridge for power plants alternators. For hydraulic, diesel and turbo alternators, the product has a speed range of 60 RPM to 3600 RPM. It can be associated with a PMG, or with the rotating rectifier bridge. The rotating rectifier corrects the current generated by the exciter, to inject it into the polar wheel of the main alternator. The rotating rectifier has 6 diodes, and can be prepared with overvoltage protection, or other safety devices. To attain optimum reliability, use a rectifier equipped only with diodes.
