With dedicated tidal and waves teams in France and UK, Alstom aims to provide the next generation of tidal energy technology in addition to their work in offshore wind. Alstom is at the helm of design, development and manufacture of tidal stream turbines that capture and convert tidal energy to electricity. Following the acquisition of Tidal Generation Ltd (TGL), Alstom plans to deploy demonstration arrays ahead of full commercial production.
