Interface module - WCS series
These interface modules are useful for connecting WCS reading heads to all the major standard interfaces like Parallel, SSI, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, CANopen, Ethernet, Interbus-S, ProfiNet and Modbus-RTU. With the help of these modules, it is possible to connect four reading heads to one interface simultaneously, except for the SSI Interface.

No wires, no tools allows the H-System interface module a plug & lock installation that snaps right on to the termination board. Galvanic isolation is secured by the modules between safe field signals and the secure non-EX-side. These modules of the H-System feature simple commissioning, space requirements are reduced, single loop integrity, and a high channel density. There are two groups of modules available. The HiD-Interface modules are 18 mm wide and they feature lower power dissipations, high packing density, and ratings of SIL 2/3. For a 16 position termination board up to 64 channels can be installed. The HiC-Interface modules are only 12.5 mm wide. These modules are single channeled with a single loop integrity and a 33% reduced cabinet space requirement with a rating of SIL 2/3. The cabinet stays cooler with the lower powered dissipation thus increasing modules lifespans.

There is also a Cable Tracer that helps in identify and locating wires without tearing through the insulation.
Tone Generator is able to trace the signals even through the wood, dry wall, or any other kind of non-metallic surfaces. It renders warbled tone with selected test frequencies and displays correct information over its LED panel as per the polarity status.
