Automatic balancing system - 246 series

The Model 246 automatic balancer brings a new level of accuracy and convenience to balancing rotating equipment on-site or on a balancing machine. Its small size makes it easy to transport and provides fast, accurate balancing by automatically calculating and solving single-and two-plane balance problems.

The 246 features two shaft-synchronous digital tracking filters that allow you to balance to tolerance levels never before achieved. These narrow-band filters automatically reject interfering frequencies from the balance readings to enhance the accuracy of the averaged balancing corrections.

The operator simply selects the rotor configuration from the pictured examples, enters the applicable trial weight data (amount, angle and radius) and follows the instructions displayed during the calibration runs. The display indicates when to start and stop the rotor and when to add or remove the trial weights. The balance corrections are instantly computed and shown in direct weight units.
