The device allows integration of maximum four distinct optical systems to achieve a wide spectrum of emission, a crucial factor for metallurgy processes. The spectrometer achieves a spectral range of 165 to 780 nm, perfect for metal analysis. The device is conducive to combining desired optical parameters/components in custom-made assemblies for use in particular multi-matrix or uni-matrix applications. The ARUN Technology represents the latest addition to the range of multi-CCD, multi-optic desktop spectrometers. These devices are based on twenty years of CCD-OES experience and allow inclusion of up to 4 separate optical systems, designed for metallurgical work in the range between 165 and 780 nanometers. Different optical element combinations are available for specific single matrix or multi-matrix applications, with all components specifically designed for different dispersions in different wavelength ranges. Best resolution is achieved in the ultra violet wavelength range of 165 to 200 nanometers, while the infrared region between 470 and 680 nanometers features lower resolutions, as only few key emission lines have to be resolved. Additionally, these models do not use optical fibers or vacuum pumps, and only feature argon purged ultra violet optical section per request.
