The iHR320 spectrometer, accessories and software can be used for any experiment where in it provides the possibility for spectroscopic measurement. The customization process begins with choosing the of entrance and exit ports, library of HORIBA Jobin Yvon gratings and the accessories for various measurements. SynerJY, a spectroscopy software which has been based on the Origin software, is the base for most measurements. A software development kit and LabVIEW VIs, are available. The spectrometer has 2 entrances, up to 4 ports and 2 exits. There is an internal filter wheel that is optional as well. It has a kinematic turret that comes with an easy access hatch. There is a choice between a CCD or an exit slit on either exit port. The CCD focus or alignment with the locking mechanism is easy.

The iHR550 spectrometer is designed to deliver sharp image qualities for various spectral measurements even for slightest variations. It has a robust build, with a single-piece cast aluminium housing , yet flexible for general usage. It provides an output along a unique combination of spectral quality. With focal length of 0.55m it provides excellent images even for the most difficult measurements. It can be used to perform multi-track experiments with more than 15 fibre input lines and yet not compromise the specifics in the output for each of these inputs. . Incorrect and re-diffracted spectra are eliminated using an asymmetric Czerny-Turner design (under the concept of our patented on-axis grating drive system). For multi –track experiments, the iHR550 has two entrances and two exit ports. Each of these ports can be configured for use with either an Array detector, such as a CCD, or with a slit for use with a PMT.
