The PolySpek is an innovative spectrometer from the Arun Technology roster of spectrometers. The device incorporates multiple CCDs and multiple optical systems to deliver best-in-class metallurgy operations. The spectrometer is structured in a desktop design to facilitate ease in operations.Arun Technology is the pioneer of CCD-driven metal analysis. The PolySpek has been created after extensive research and development. Two decades worth of experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of CCD-OES have been harnessed to design the high caliber spectrometer.
The device allows integration of maximum four distinct optical systems to achieve a wide spectrum of emission, a crucial factor for metallurgy processes. The spectrometer achieves a spectral range of 165 to 780 nm, perfect for metal analysis. The device is conducive to combining desired optical parameters/components in custom-made assemblies for use in particular multi-matrix or uni-matrix applications. The spectrometer offers optimized optical elements, geared to deliver varying dispersion rates in various wavelengths.
The PolySpek provides the highest resolution in the ultraviolet spectral field of 165 to 200 nm. The infrared field of 470 to 680 requires a lower resolution, owing to fewer key emission lines that require resolving. The spectrometer works without the use of vacuum pumps or optical fibres.
