The Spectroblue comes in three rugged versions: the Spectroblue EOP which provides axial viewing; the Spectroblue SOP which gives radial reading; and the Spectroblue TI which has a twin interface of both an axial and radial viewing of the plasma.

The device's confocal optical system provides an enhanced optical resolution and sensitivity. Spectroblue also employs a UV-PLUS gas purification technology and a OPI-AIR interface which eliminates the need for complicated external water cooling. Packing ample power reserves even for extreme plasma loads, the Spectroblue plasma generator is designed for efficiency. Its free-running 27MHz design provides wider frequency bandwidth. The Spectroblue ICP-OES system is also equipped with the Smart Analyzer Vision software.

It is designed for use in applications that involve soil and sludge, waste water, aqueous solutions, drinking water, and other materials.

The left side of the instrument houses a different optical system that is a major development with great resolution, accuracy and stability. The SPECTRO ARCOS can be equipped with an interface for observation in either axial or radial plasma.

The CCD optic system is combined with Paschen-Runge mount assembly to deliver an unmatched resolution of 8.5 picometers in wavelength ranging from 130 to 340 mm. The additional SPECTRO ARCOS strengths consist of new, robust and free-running generator and are combined with a ceramic tube, solid-state power supply, low maintenance and economical UV-Plus system for high VUV transparency down to 130 nm. It has fast readout system with a dynamic range of eight decades and a transient measuring frequency of up to 10 Hz.

Hundreds of measurements can be conducted when applying the devices’s incorporated rechargeable battery. It is useful for material testing in production, component determination in chemical and petrochemical factories, material error analysis, weld-seam analysis, and the rapid identification of metal alloys when purchasing, availing or blending scrap metal.

The iSORT operates using a ‘fingerprinting’ method to individually determine the sample material. The enhanced instrument settings for the material are automatically utilized for the analysis without manual operator intervention.
