Metal analyzer / OES / portable - SPECTRO iSORT
The most recent SPECTRO iSORT model is a battery-operated, handheld spectrometer used for on-site determination and analysis of all typical metal alloys. It utilizes an effective arc excitation, and needs neither argon, nor radioactive reference.Hundreds of measurements can be conducted when applying the devices’s incorporated rechargeable battery. It is useful for material testing in production, component determination in chemical and petrochemical factories, material error analysis, weld-seam analysis, and the rapid identification of metal alloys when purchasing, availing or blending scrap metal.
The iSORT operates using a ‘fingerprinting’ method to individually determine the sample material. The enhanced instrument settings for the material are automatically utilized for the analysis without manual operator intervention.
