Graphite seal / flat - max. 100 bar | SIGRAFLEX®

Newly developed flat gasket system made by SGL.
The flat gasket consists of 3 graphite and 2 thin stainless steel foils (1.4401 / s = 0,05 mm). They have a sandwich-style design, while the connection between graphite and stainless steel foil consists of a non-adhesive bond. The gasket also has an inner eyelet. The graphite covering layers are impregnated

Spiral seal / graphite - max. 160 bar, -200 °C ... +550 °C

A beaded metal band is wound with a soft material (graphite or PTFE) for spiral wound gaskets.

Spiral seal / graphite - max. 320 bar, -200 °C ... +550 °C

This gasket system also has an inner as well as outer support ring in addition to the wound spiral. This stabilises the spiral mechanically. Recommended for flanges with flat or raised face.

Graphite seal / metal - max. 160 bar, -200 °C ... +550 °C

Camprofil metal gaskets are excellently suited for sealing off media under extreme operating conditions and are practically pre-destined for use at high operating pressures.
They unite the specific properties of optional two-sided soft material graphite or PTFE layers and metal gaskets.
The root core profiling, layer thickness and material are so aligned that the layer material is highly compressed thus presenting low cross-sectional diffusion.
Du to the reduced sealing area, only low seating stress is required and thus only low bolt load.

Graphite seal / stainless steel - max. 0.1 mm (0.004") | Flexicarb ST

Flexicarb tanged steel reinforced graphite is a laminate sheet material of graphite foil layers mechanically bonded to a 0.1 mm (0.004) thick 316 stainless steel tanged core. The core enhances the mechanical strength of the graphite foil. Flexicarb ST is suitable for sealing steam, water, gasses, hydrocarbons, alkalis and chemicals. It is not recommended for use on glass-lined, bronze or aluminum flanges.

Graphite seal / stainless steel - max. 0.05mm (0.002") | Flexicarb SR

Flexicarb steel reinforced (SR) is a high performance laminate comprising of graphite foil chemically bonded to each face of a 0.05mm (0.002) 316 stainless steel substrate. SR possesses good mechanical properties and is suitable for sealing steam, water, gases, oils, hydrocarbons, alkalis.
