The right-angle worm gear reducer integrates all bearing seats into a single-piece casting. It eliminates all sealing surfaces that could deflect under the effect of radial forces. The device has a durable cast iron casing for harsh environments. Also, it is designed with an integrally-cast flange feature for easy cleaning. The tool also features a high-quality sealing for enhanced leakage protection. The external side is the integral part of the housing.

Due to the difficult environments for which they were created, materials used in their construction were carefully chosen for high reliability. Membrane or piston-type pressure compensators are included in these device to balance the pressure so that they can work at any depth.
An included worm shaft is supported by taper roller bearings. This mechanism comes with a high-strength alloy steel worm screw that is hardened and grounded. A vertical or horizontal carbon steel ROV input (class 1 to 7) is also included.
