The KEFP series from Ringspann, is a pneumatically-operated rod clamping device, with a maximum capacity of 9800 N. It is suitable for continuous piston rod clamping, with connection dimensions adaptable with pneumatic cylinders that meet with ISO standards. Holding forces transmissible in both directions of movement. For releasing, no lifting force to the piston rod is required.

The unit has been specifically developed to hold a vertically moved mass at one direction against gravitational forces. The holding function is executed by a circular shaft.
