The MPS Tooling system is ideal for turning any heavy-duty honing equipment into a modern bore finishing system. It enables the sharpening of a large number of materials with differing sizes and properties. It also allows bore functions to be efficiently carried out cost effectively.
There is a wide range of machine specifications available. The MPS-H50 has a diameter range of 50-76mm (1.9"-3.0"), the MPS-H70 has 73-111mm (2.9"-4.4") and the MPS-H85 has 85-117mm (3.4"-7.0"). The MPS-H165 and the MPS-H200 have diameter ranges of 165-216mm (6.5"-8.5") and 203-299 (8"-11.5") respectively.
Sunnen provides a hone head module which is suitable for almost any function. It is used with older models for a larger range of applications and Portahones. It is productive with minimal noise and makes holes rounder with very little stock removal. Components of this system are standard and interchangeable.
