Monoaxial MDO stretching machine for films (machine direction orientation) - MDO-I-350, MDO-II-350

MDO-I-350 and MDO-II-350 are monoaxial stretching machines manufactured by Collin. The models offer everything needed for the production of monoaxially oriented films. These tools differ regarding the number of stretching gaps. MDO-I has one gap, while the other has two gaps.

Every roll in the stretching units are of double-walled construction, so that each can guarantee accurate temperature control. The total stretching ratio is 1:10, at a speed of 50m/mm.

Machines may come with preheating or hold back group with rolls that can reach up to 144mm in diameter. It has a rubber-surfaced pressing roll placed opposite the devices' preheating rolls.

The process unit possesses a melting behavior, a throughput feature, a temperature profile over the length of the screw, a heating and cooling performance, and a simple energy consumption.
