The Univex has the ability to take off, cool, and wind up flat films up to a max. of 30 m/min. Controlling can be done manually or through PC (via CAN bus).

Its flat film take-off is a compact, freely movable downstream unit allowing film take-off. This, together with the installed heating/cooling facilities, makes the flat film take-off perfectly suited for a wide range of polymer melts. The nip rolls ensures tight film guidance.

The torque-controlled winder is equipped with a traversing film guiding device for winding. Unilateral support of rolls and guide rollers provide easy threading of the film.

Air blowing system for blown film extrusion lines - Ø 84 mm

The BRABENDER film blowing and take-off unit features inverter drive of 0.37 kW, with take-off speed ranging from 1 to 25 m/min and a low pressure blower with the pressure of 130 mbars, 3 m3/min. The unit can simultaneously blow up, take off, cool and wind up extruded blown films, with blowing ratios up to 1:4, controlled by a film width controller (optional). The unit can also offer precise adjustment of the bubble diameter and film thickness. They device can be manually controlled, or through a PC, connected via CAN bus. If used with the Film Quality Analyzer, the unit can offer constant purity measurement during a take-off process.

The Thermo Scientific™ 21Plus! measurement and control system represents a cost-effective, production increasing tool for various spun-bond, air-laid, or carded processes. It offers high-quality measurements of weight and thickness of nonwoven materials, as well as binder or super absorbance polymer (SAP) content. This is usually needed for various hygienic applications and processes. The system contains a Mark III or L400 scanner, a Thermo Scientific™ Prosis™ Infrared Thickness sensor or Thermo Scientific™ Beta Plus™ sensor as well as line speed controls.
