The drum screens with triangle profile are intended for removing of fine and average municipal and plant wastes with subsequent discharging on transport or waste collector. It recommended for using in meat industry with high content of feather, wool and grease for mechanized waste cleaning. The drum screens with triangle profile are adjustied on the waste water supply pipe. The screens are intended for using in waste water with pH 6,5-8,5.

The screening surface of a step screen consists of alternating moving and fixed step-shaped plates.

Due to the vertical rotary movement of the moving plates array, with every revolution the screenings are successively transported one step upward the screening surface towards the discharge point.

Low friction gaskets, positioned between the successive plates ensure fixed and uniform clearance as well as the low water head loss.

The rotation speed of the moving plates is controlled by the water level in the channel.
