Coarse screen for wastewater treatment - RKE
Bar screens are intended for extraction of large and medium-sized solids from wastewater and recommended to use as a primary mechanical treatment at sewage pumping stations. The possibility to reduce bar openings down to 5 mm allows using the bar screens for the fine screening at wastewater treatment plants.RKE-SERIES RAKE TYPE BAR SCREEN ADVANTAGES
mechanic and hydraulic overloads resistance: has a high-tensile design to compare with other types of mechanized screens;
high hydraulic efficiency achieved by using tear-shaped bars that causes the pressure gradient before screen and inside the bar spacing;
tear-shaped profile protects the screen from waste jamming inside the filtering mesh. Due to this design hindrances can be removed by the rakes;
increased reliability by the absence of the submersible rotating parts;
submersible parts like casing, bars, chains, rakes, coating are made of stainless steel AISI 304 in order to improve corrosion resistance in aggressive environment like wastewater;
improved ergonomics: high maintainability of the screen due to accessibility of the main units in operation and possibility of its lifting up from the channel without demounting.
